Access Enhanced Brush Strip Top Panel

To meet the increasing demands for top cable entry, Cooper B-Line have developed a range of retro-fit able top panels designed to add additional flexibility to the industry leading Access Cabinet range.

Available to suit 600mm and 800mmw ide standard Access cabinets these new top panels can replace any of the Access Cabinet full size standard top panel options including plain steel, vented steel and cable through brush strip variants.

Providing unhindered cabling access, the panels have been developed be fully removable during cabling (if desired). The design of the cable through aperture in the top panel allow s the panel to fit over cable bundles, removing the need to pass individual cables through a small top panel cabling aperture. This solution has the added benefit that it can copew ith pre terminated connectors, limiting the possibility of other cables being damaged as the connector is squeezed through the cabling aperture.

To aid protection against dust ingress and help maintain the thermal integrity of the cabinet the drops off can be adjusted to vary the cable aperture size. This feature provides the ability tailor the seal betw een the cable and the brush strip, irrespective of the cable volume or variation.

• A brush strip enhancement kit is also available allow ing the second cabling aperture to be utilised should it be needed. The enhancement kit comprises of the follow ing;
  • 1 x Adjustable drop off.
  • 1 x Removable brush strip section.

• Works w ellw ith pre treminated connectors, helping to eliminate cables being squashed during deployment.
• Blanks off any unused cabling aperture helping to reduce the ingress of dust as well as maintaining the thermal integrity of the cabinet.
• Replaces existing top panels offering the same option to position the cable entry front and / or rear as well as centrally on cabinet of 875mmdepth or more.
