Leeds Project: To introduce a range of IP54 cabinets for the installation of high voltage switch gear and control equipment in various substations throughout the UK for the national grid. The cabinets are replacing legacy equipment that will be condensed into a single 47U rack with full state of the art monitoring and sensing equipment. |

Call Centre Goes Live With i-BOX Objective: To improve the security of the Datacentre/Cabinet and provide accurate information on who entered cabinets and the environmental conditions within. Product: i-PAL & i-BOX. Solution: The client has a number of datacentres, which are spread across the UK. Each datacentre has a number of communication rooms and stand-alone cabinets. Each site has different levels of security ranging from door access to video surveillance. A full review of the objective took place with the client and it was decided to deploy the Cooper B-Line i-BOX solution. |

Supplying
T5 As previously announced Cooper B-Line have now started to supply the Access rack system to NTL for installation into the Terminal buildings. Around 135 racks will be supplied between now and September. As an addition to the Access rack we are also supplying cabinets from our IP54 range for use at various locations across the site between now and next May. |

GCHQ Often the public are unaware of exactly what happens at GCHQ in Cheltenham but few can have missed the construction of the new purpose built accommodation building locally referred to as the doughnut because of its shape. The new building equivalent in size to the old Wembley stadium will replace over fifty buildings currently spread across two sites some four miles apart. |

Merrill
Lynch Cooper B-Line have secured a very significant, prestigious contract with Merrill Lynch, the global financial management and advisory company. The contract is to supply and install the market leading Cooper B-Line Access cabinets, as part of the main communications facility for the Merrill Lynch Financial Centre, the new headquarters for its European, Middle East, and African operations, based in the City of London. State-of-the-art, it will act as a model high-tech installation for other ongoing Merrill Lynch developments. |
