Access - ETSI        

Access standard 19" vertical mounting rails in heights 42 and 47U can be replaced by ETSI mounting rails. This provides 74 and 83 SU of ETSI mounting respectively. Where small sections of 19" mounting are required within an ETSI cabinet , special adapter plates are available which offer a 2, 3, 6 or 12U mounting facility. ETSI and standard 19" rails can be combined in the same cabinet, ie. ETSI at front and 19" at rear.

A 'double depth' ETSI cabinet can be made by fitting ETSI rails in the front and rear of any cabinet depth variant.Using an 800mm wide cabinet gives additional room for cabling. The mounting rails can be fitted centrally or biased to the left or right.

Using the Access cabinet for either ETSI or 19" equipment maintains a uniform appearance in mixed application installations.
